"We want this land for ourselves!" A well muscled black tom stepped forward.
"You will never!" Brookfrost sprang off of the Moss Stone right at Jack. She bit down on his neck. Hard. He struggled for a moment, then went still. Brookfrost stood and yowled. Most of the rouges ran for the exit, but more lay splayed across the camp ground.
Brookfrost went back to the Moss Stone. "I am speaking to you because Jaystar has lost a life. But Greymist is healing him. She will soon for the rest of you.Firepaw and Blossompaw, Greymist would like you to help her. Also, Ivorypaw is back. Jack forced her into having his kits. Their names are Snowkit and Nightkit.
"Finally, Ivorypaw and Brightpaw must become warriors. I say this in the name of Jaystar. I call upon my warrior ancestors to looked down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turns. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code?"
"I do." Ivorypaw meowed.
"I do." Brightpaw repeated.
"Ivorypaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Ivorypool. StarClan honors your energy and braver."She meowed and turned to Brightpaw."Brightpaw from this moment on, you will be known as Brightwater. StarClan honors your loyalty and skills."She meowed at last."I have some bad news Lightfoot and Sapphirewillow are dead.Their vigil will be held tonight."He meowed."That is all clan dismissed."He jumped of Moss Stone.
"I do." Ivorypaw meowed.
"I do." Brightpaw repeated.

Brookfrost picked up Lightfoot and Sapphirewillow by their scruffs and brought them to the middle of camp,she remembered that Sapphirewillow had a daughter.
ReplyDeleteCloudtooth was in the nursery.Whirlwind was going to have her kits soon and he wanted to make sure she was safe.
Sparrowfur went into the nursery.He looked at his mate and smiled then turned to his Half-sister."Ivorypool."He meowed.
Rosenight padded out of the nursery after licking icekit,snowkit,and nightkits heads.'now i have three grandkits.'she thought.'jaystar's going to have a surprize when he awakes.'she thought looking at her stomach which was slightly swallen.
Brightwater smiled and went to her sister."It's good to have my sister back."she meowed
Gingerfrost looked at her kits and icekit."okay you can come out."she meowed
Swiftkit smiled."finely!"He meowed and ran outside to horror."Mama!"He yelled."Is that really what happens?"he meowed
Vinekit didn't go outside.she looked at Blazekit."i'm not going out."she meowed
Freckle smiled to ashpaw she Blushed slightly the looked around."My mother should be home by now."she meowed
Jaystar woke. He looked outside and saw Brookfrost. He gasped. "Two cats!"
ReplyDeleteIvorypool dipped her head in greeting. "Would you like to see them?" She moved her tail to reveal her two kits. "They are Snowkit and Nightkit." She tapped each one on the head lightly. Then she turned to Brightwater. She purred. "It's good to see you too." She paused. "Ashpaw should have been made a warrior, too." She meowed.
Icekit followed Swiftkti and gazed in wonder. She took in everything she saw, even the most gruesome parts.
Blazekit sighed. "Me either. I'll protect you instead."
Ashpaw shrugged "She might be on a late patrol." He meowed.
Wolf looked at the brown and white she-cat on the large mossy rock. She sat down and listened to her speak to the other cats below her. she raised her voice, "Hello? May I stay here, I don't believe in what Jack was doing."

Brightwater paused."He'll be back, i know it."she meowed."Mother old me you meet our father?whats he like."she asked sadness in her eyes
Swiftkit turned to Icekit."Lets go."he meowed and padded to the elders den.
Vinekit smiled."Thanks Blazekit!"She meowed
"she said she'd never!"Freckle hissed."I'm going to find her!"she meowed and leaped over the fence
Minnowsong caught sight of Wolf. She lashed her tail. "Are you kidding me?" She glared. "After what you and the others did?"

Ivorypool sighed. "I guess so." Then her eyes brightened. "Weird! He didn't like us!" She paused. "Or, he seemed like he didn't." Finally she turned to Sparrowfur. How did you guess?"
"Ok." Icekit padded in. "Quailfall?"
"Hello, kits." Quailfall purred.
Blazekit smiled. "It's the least I can do."
Ashpaw jumped after her. "Yes! We can go into the woods!"
Wolf hung her head. "I wasn't there when Jack forced Ivorypaw to have kits. I will apologize for his actions though." Wolf let a solitary tear fall before she straitened up.

Freckle rolled her eyes."Come on Ashpaw!"she meowed and headed into the forest
Graymist looked at Jaystar as he awoke. "You lost a life," she mewed, her pale green eyes gleaming. "And we won, though we lost Lightfoot and Sapphirewillow, as Brookfrost said." Graymist smiled sadly. "I'll leave you now. The Clan needs my and Thunderpaw's services."

ReplyDeleteMinnowsong growled and rolled her eyes. "Don't go all innocent on me! I recognize your pelt color, you were fighting!" Then she turned to Brookfrost, fluffing her fur up, but thought better of it. "This isn't over." She growled before stalking away. Then she saw Lightfoot's limp body. She wailed and pelt over to him. She pressed her nose deep into his fur.
Jaystar looked up. "I must get up and look after my clan." he rose and padded out of the den. He saw Brookfrost standing next to a rouge. "What is this?"
Ivorypool purred. Then to Brightwater, "Yeah, he did."
"Are you here for a story?" Quailfall asked.
Blazekit shrugged. "Dad always says that when someone thanks him for something really little, so I was following him."
Ashpaw took the lead. "I know where to go! I live here!" he pelted toward the camp.
Fireclaw saw the rouge she-cat begin to arouse. "Morning, sunshine." He whispered as the she-cat's eyes flickered open. "The battle's over."
Thunder hid in the shadows of the camp. His sister, Feather, was down and he couldn't leave her. Even if he had to die for her.

Freckle blushed and ran after ashpaw.
Feather groaned in pain, her head pounding. What happen? Oh yeah, that little fleabag knocked her out. She growled and then raised her head. What in the name- She looked around.

"Oh, which one?" Quailfall cocked her head. "You mean the one about the foxes, or when Jaystar first found her?"
Ashpaw pelted into camp. "I'm Hom-" He stopped and stared. The place was devistated. There were limp bodies everywhere, including Lightfoot and...Freckle's mother.
Fireclaw padded over to the she-cat. "Morning, sunshine." he purred. "The battle's over."
Brookfrost nodded.

Ivorypool purred. She licked the top of Snowkit's head.

Wolf pitied the she cat and wept silently for the fallen warriors that Jack and his gang had ruthlessly murdered.
