About five minutes in, she heard a rustling in the bushes. She stiffened, but relaxed when it stopped. Probably some rabbit. But then the bush shook again. "Show yourself!" She exclaimed.
Four cats padded out of the bushes. "Are you MossClan?" one, a light grey she-cat, asked.
"I am Minnowsong of MossClan." Minnowsong replied. "What do you seek?"
"I am Mint." the she-cat meowed. "These are Dew, Feather, and Thunder." She gestured to the others. "Our band is going to attack. Right now." As if on cue, a yowl split the night air.
Minnowsong yowled, running into camp and waking up Jaystar. "ATTACK! ATTACK!"
Feather yowled and jumped on a ginger tom (Fireclaw), hissing. She bit his shoulder.

Thunder looked around as the battle broke out. He didn't want to fight, but he always followed his sister.

Fireclaw growled. He slapped her away with one strong paw. Then he followed through with a slash to the leg. "Now we're even!" He exclaimed, his fur bristling.
ReplyDeleteJack almost lept at a cat, when he noticed Thunder. "Hurry up, idiot!" he spat. "That one!" He flicked his tail at a red maine coon (Blossompaw). "I hope that silly she-cat isn't too much for you." Then he raged into battle.
Feather hissed, but smiled. "Even we are." she growled, but then swatted at his leg, knocking him down.

Thunder hissed, but shrank down. He turned to the clan apprentice and ran towards her, knocking her down.

Fireclaw rolled his eyes and got up. "If you're not going to follow through with your attack and pin me, how do you expect to win?" He asked casually before pelting at the she-cat and using the same mover, but pinning her after he had knocked her down. "And that is how it works."
ReplyDeleteBlossompaw had just shaken off a rouge when some crazy cat ran at her and knocked her over. She slashed at his muzzle, sending blood everywhere.
Feather smirked. "I expected that." she said with mischief in her eye. She then kicked him with her hind legs, flipping him over and piercing his stomach. She then quickly got up and pinned him down with a tight grip. "And that's how you escape."

Thunder yowled and jumped back. He crouched down and growled, waiting for her move. Oh, how he wished he didn't have to do this.
Fireclaw snorted. "Nice one, babe." He meowed, feeling no pain as the blood dripped down his belly and his legs. He let himself go limp, then shot up when she loosened her grip. "Seriously, you don't know that one?" He yowled, ducking as she tried to swipe him over the head. "That's like, the oldest one in the book!" He aimed a blow at her side, and executed it perfectly, knocking the wind out of her.

Feather fell to the ground on her side, but quickly responded. She shot up and growled. "You think it's over? Yeah right." She crouched down. "Your move Mr. Know it All."

Thunder growled. He could easily beat her. Even if he wasn't the strongest. He ran up to her and pounced on her, knocking her down and scratching her back.

Fireclaw thought for a moment. "Alright babe. You asked for it." He ran at her, slamming her down before she could react. He then picked her up and threw her against the Moss Stone. Then he picked her up again, shooting her up in the air and making room for her to fall. He let her come down until she was so close to hitting the ground (which would kill her, BTW), and caught her above him. He looked at her. She was almost unconcious. He lay her lightly down in the shade of the Moss Stone. "Next time, babe." He whispered.

She groaned and then after that, softly growled. She slowly got up and shook her head, but then he shade was nice and she laid back down and closed her eyes, ignoring the outside world

Fireclaw licked the top of the she-cat's head, and headed into the fray.

Jaystar nodded. He fought off a cat and started on another, loving the feel of a friend at his side.
Ivorypaw watched helplessly from outside the camp. Two rouges were guarding her. Suddenly, she felt her stomach clench. She yowled in pain. "My kits are coming!" She wailed.
Icekit nodded, agreeing with Swiftkit. "Please?"
Hollykit stood beside Swiftkit and Icekit.
Blazekit sat back with Vinekit, trying to protect her.
Ashpaw purred. "That's because I live in the forest. You get dirty sometimes."
Cloudtooth jumped over Jaystar over to another Rouge.

Blazekit didn't know what to say.
"Really?" Ashpaw meowed. "Wow...you're relaxed to a warrior!" He mrrowed. "I'm only an apprentice, but you're probably old enough to be a warrior..." he trailed off awkwardly.

Thunder hissed and then looked around. He then lept on Blossompaw, pinning her to the ground, digging his claws in her shoulders.

ReplyDeleteFirepaw was watching. He saw the signal, and leaped in to interfere. He pushed Thunder off of his sister and pinned him, pummeling him while his sister got up.
Thunder yowled and squirmed a bit. But then he gave a low growl in defeat. Feather once told him how to get lose, but he never really paid attention.
