"That was just too easy." Chem laughed. She turned to the group of rouges behind her. "Come," she meowed. "Tonight we gain more territory."
Blossomglow pricked her ears. She couldn't sleep. She knew what was going down tonight, and she couldn't stop thinking about it. She turned to look at her brother. She poked him until he woke up.
"Huh?" Firefang opened his eyes slowly. "What?"
"Its about to begin."
"What is?" Firefang sat up quickly.
"The Great Battle." There was a yowl from outside.
"It's already begun!" Firefang and Blossomglow raced outside.
Spottedpaw eyes shot open,as the yowl echoed throught out the camp.She emidiently got to her paws and paded out of the apprentices den to see what in was happening.
ReplyDeleteJaystar leaped out of his den, his eyes glowing. He searched the crowd, then spotted a paire of lime green eyes. "Chem..." He snarled under his breath.
ReplyDeleteMousetail prodded Cherrycloud in the side and whispered, "Something big is happening..." he pointed with his tail to the clearing out side the den.
ReplyDeleteWhirlstorm shot up at the yowl and stared at the she cat with glowing green eyes.
Cherrycloud blinked her eyes open. Her ears suddenly pricked at the sound of fighting cats.
ReplyDeleteBlossomglow leaped at a rouge, but silently rolled over the cat and whispered, "Thank you." She then hid behind some rougesso she wouldn't get caught. She watched her brother do the same.
Pineheart woke up to battle cries and leapt up.
ReplyDeleteShe didn't see Swiftclaw and figured he was already out in the clearing.
She jumpped out of the den and felt her claws rip at an enemies flesh.

DeleteMousetail crept from a den and stealthily leaped at a charging rouge, pulling it to the ground and slashing fiercely at its stomach.
ReplyDeleteWhirlstorm had never seen such bright green eyes in her life and they scared her out of her pelt. She darted past the green eyed cat and into battle yowling a battle cry and launching herself at rouges left and right.
Wolffur's ears pricked as she woke up from her dream. Her hackles raised and her fur bristled as she recognized some of the rouges fighting outside the den. she growled feicely and meowed to the other sleeping cats, "Get up! The Great battle has begun!" With that she raced into battle and attack the rouge she new the best. Her brother.
Minnowpaw dodged an attack and raked her claws down the rogue's side, causing him to yowel in pain.

ReplyDeleteHollyfeather leaped at a rouge. She swiped her claw through it's pelt. The rouge winced but didn't back down.
ReplyDeleteMousetail grappled with a brown tabby tom that was desperately snapping at his jugular. He would swipe and the rouge would retaliate with an equally fierce blow. He could hear yowls of pain and battle cries echoing in his ears. For that brief moment he stopped to listen the rogue took advantage and pinned Mousetail to the damp soil with a ferocious snarl. The rogue was about to go in for the killing blow when mousetail snapped his jaws tight around the cat's throat.
ReplyDeleteWhirlstorm twisted and dodged in a dance of swift claws and snapping jaws. One rogue after another fell to her strength in mind and body.
Wolffur hissed at the cat she once called littermate, "What do you think you're doing here, Smoke?" The dull grey tom cackled in delight, "Oh sister, you think you are so feirce now that you rely on other cats for you food and protection. You're almost as soft as a Kittypet!" Wolffur slashed and snapped at Smoke but he dodged and laughed at the attempts. "Try a bit harder why don't you. I thought you actually remembered what I taught you." Wolffur snarled, "I do remember but I refused to used those moves. I don't rely on killing to defeat and opponent."
